Shrewd.

Shrewd. Shrewd can be “Good or Bad”. Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; therefore be as “Shrewd” as snakes “and” as innocent as doves.  (Matthew 10:16) The Shrewd Manager “Did Not Love”; God was Not Pleased! There is Divine and Demonic Shrewdness! Shrewd - Having or showing sharp powers of “Judgement”, being astute or clever, often in a way that is both wise and prudent, but can also imply cunning or deceit. Our Daily Nugget  says, we are to be as shrewd as snakes, “But”, as innocent as doves.  To Love a person will “Keep our Actions” “Innocent” toward that person as long as we are “Acting Out Of Love”.  A Shrewd Spirit can be used for Good or for Bad; i...

The Hedge.

The Hedge.                                                                     God’s Divine Protection! There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and “that man was perfect and upright”, and “one that feared God”, and “eschewed evil” (deliberately avoided evil).  (Job 1:1) Hast not thou made an “Hedge About Him”, and “about his house”, and “about all that he hath on every side”?  Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.  (Job 1:10) Holy Living moves God to Provide a “Hedge” of ...

Two Hearts.

Two Hearts. The Heart that Thinks or the Heart that Pumps blood? The Heart Between our Ears - The Heart, the Organ in our Chest. You shall “Love” the Lord your God with “All Your Heart“ (between the ears) and with “All your Soul” (between the ears) and with “All your Mind (between the ears).  (Matthew 22:37) He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to “Do Justice”, and to “Love Kindness”, and to “Walk Humbly” with your God?  (Micah 6:8) The Bible speaks of the Heart “Between Our Ears”. The World speaks of the Heart “In the Middle of Our Chest”.  Do you associate “The Heart” with “How You Feel” or do you associate the Heart with “What God Requires of us...

The Great Exchange!

The Great Exchange! Changed from an Old to a New Creature. Therefore, if anyone is “In Christ”, he is a “new creation”; the old “has passed away”, behold the “new has come”, emphasizing a transformative experience of “Being Reborn in Christ”.  (2 Corinthians 5:17) If the Old Creature does not go, the New Creature cannot come! We cannot be an Old Creature and a New Creature at the same time; this is a lukewarm person.  The “Lukewarm Person” is not a New Creature, he is still the Old Creature.  We are either “all in” or “all out”; the lukewarm person is a Old Creature. This is the person who say, “I Believe”, but I just live like I don’t believe.  Jesus said, Oh how I wish you were “Hot or Cold”; but since you are luke...

My Heart, His Home.

My Heart, His Home. Now, we know Love, that Surpasses Knowledge! I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit “in your inner being”, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through “Faith”.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in “Love”, may have power, together with all the Lord’s “Holy People”, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the “Love of Christ”, and to “Know this Love Surpasses Knowledge-that you may “Be Filled to the Measure of All the Fulness of God”.  (Ephesians 3:16-19) The Goal:  To have “All of Him in My Heart/Mind and None of Me”. Our Daily Nugget is God instructing us to Pray to “Invite Christ to Live in our Heart/Mind”.   Wh...

Respectable!

Respectable! Who Is Respectable? I have found one in a thousand men whom I can “respect”, but not one woman I can “respect” among them all.  (Ecclesiastes 7:28).   Solomon, the Wisest man to every lived, said this. Being the wisest man to have ever lived, Solomon probably said a whole lot, much more than a book the size of the Bible could contain.  God chose our Daily Nugget as one of Solomon’s sayings to place in His Instruction Manual, the Bible, for us to live by.  Therefore, everything in the Bible is critical. Respect - Signifies worthiness of respect, characterized by dignity, decency, and a life that is orderly and worthy of emulation.  This often includes qualities like “being above ...
