Hard Truths.

                                                                          Hard Truths.

We must Die to Self, before we can Embrace Hard Truths!

I am the Bread of Life.  Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died.  But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die.  I am the living bread that came down from heaven.  Whoever eats “this bread” will live forever.  This bread is my flesh, “which I will give for the life of the world”.  Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves.  “How Can This Man Give Us His Flesh To Eat”?  (John 6:48-52)

Few Great Things Have Been Done Within the Confines of the Accepted Norm.

God’s Word , the Bible, is Truth.  What Are “Hard Truths”?

Hard Truths - The convicting, counter-cultural, or difficult teachings of Scripture.  These are doctrines that challenges human pride, require personal sacrifice, or confront sin.  Unlike comforting promises of grace, they call the Believers to “radical obedience and self-denial”.

Our Daily Nugget Scriptures are Hard Truths!

Imagine a man today who is saying that he is the Bread of Life, sent by God, for the People to Eat His Flesh.  I give my flesh to be eaten for the life of the world.  John the Baptist, whom God described as “The Best Man To Have Ever Lived”, did not fit into the Accepted Norm.  He would not be allowed into Pulpits Today; he was a Hard Truth.

                                                                  “Beware of Religion and Tradition!

One of the Best Things we can do for the Lord, ourselves, our households, is to Embrace Hard Truths.  We must die to self, religions, traditions, worldly desires, etc.; before we can Live for God by Embracing Hard Truths.  To Embrace Hard Truths Leads to Life.  To reject Hard Truths leads to death and continued darkness.

To rather be “wrong than to be corrected” is a

Heart/Mind Positioned to Reject Hard Truths; and Choosing to “Embrace A Lie”.

If we do no Study The Bible,

We Will Never Know What “Hard Truths” Are.  Study for Life and Light.
