Belief Without Faith is Dead!

Genesis 15:6         Abram “believed” the Lord, and due to “this faith” the Lord accepted him as one who “has done” what is right.

 Belief Without Faith Is Dead!

The Word tells us that even our “best efforts” are like filthy rags before God.  “God is Just That Holy”.  If God did not look at us through the blood of Jesus, He would not be able to stand the sight of anyone of us.  Yet, He loves and wants our best efforts.

God knows we ain’t nothing but dirt; but He do not allow us to “live dirty”.

God say that we must be Holy.

God is “Holy” beyond our “ability to imagine”!

Abram "believed" what The Lord said, then

Abram “put legs to his belief”, these legs we’ll call “Faith”!

Just as faith without action is dead; “Belief” without “Faith” is dead!

This is the kind of belief Satan has for Jesus.

All of us who have this type of nonbelief faith, like Satan,

will spend eternity with him, this is dead faith.

Dead faith cannot deliver God’s Salvation.

When our “actions” do not follow what we say we “believe”,

God calls us a liar.

Abram was “made right” due to his belief, not due to his actions.  His actions really are like a follow through, or a natural reaction to his belief.  God knew Abrams Heart (mind) when Abram first believed and God accepted him “jolly on the spot”.

This is the way we are accepted by God,

When we “Believe”!

Scripture informs us that none but the “righteous” shall see God.  The righteous are not people who never do wrong; the righteous are people who believe, and the evidence of that belief is seen clearly in the actions, the life of that person, just like with Abram.

Scripture also informs us that

no one makes a fool out of God; everyone will reap what they sow!

Our life follows our focus,

therefore, wisdom say focus (Think) on things that lead to life not death.

Things that lead to life:

          Sincerity                      Sharing                         Forgiving

Truth                            Helping                        Selflessness

Joy                               Giving                          Patience

Peace                           Caring                           Kindness

Doing good                  Gentleness                    Purity

Things that lead to death:

         Selfishness                    Inconsideration             Impatience

         Revenge                        Hoarding                       Unforgiving

         Deception                      Untrustworthy               Lying

         Sin                                 Unequal weights           Unequal measures

Me, me, me ….             Vengeance                     Stealing

I heard a man say,

It’s Not Intelligent to “Think” about things you do not want to happen!

Ask God to Bless You

“All Day Long” To “Think Only” About Things That Lead To “Life”

And Watch What Happens!
