He Lives - "That's All You Need To Know"!

For I resolved to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  (1 Corinthians 2:2)

 

He Lives!

“That’s All You Need To Know”!

 

Our Daily Nugget

is Paul explaining to the Church at Corinth that he did not come to “impress people” with big words, and clever strategies that the people would find favor in him.  Paul is telling the people and us, that all you need to know is that “He Lives”.  Jesus the Christ, the Word, is “enough”.

 

Being consciously aware 

that He Lives gives us the ability to walk on by Faith.

 

Corinth was similar in many ways to the United States.  Corinth was a rich society; the people enjoyed much material goods and thought very highly of themselves.  They were always seeking people who would stroke them and impress them with  eloquent words and percepts.  The people were always learning, but not doing. 

 

Listening to some people, if you do not go to “Seminaries”, you are not equipped to preach and teach Christ.  Some people call the Seminaries, “Cemeteries”.  Paul is saying to that, all you need to know is that “He Lives”.

 

Until Paul learned that “He Lives”, Paul was Saul.

 

Jesus’ command to his followers is 

“To Go”, “To Do”, “To Love”.

 

Love is “Doing”!

If we are always learning, there is no time for doing; no time “To Love”!

There is having Church and there is being the Church.

This is what Satan wants; too busy to Love.

Satan uses tradition and religion.

 

A great strategy to avoid doing a thing is to be busy doing another thing.

This brings us to our “professional student”; the person who spends their whole life learning until it is time to retire.  The professional student never works.

 

The Professional Student replaces working, doing, with learning.

This was the situation with the Church at Corinth.

 

If it is not Love, it is just “noise”.

To know Jesus the Christ, is to know Love.

Jesus’ whole life was wrapped up in loving, doing for people.

 

We must “imitate” him.

There is “Love” and there is “Noise”!  

For me to say I love you, and don’t do for you is “Just Noise”.

Faith without works is dead, it’s just noise.

 

Just noise cannot save!

What good is there in me saying to you, 

be warmed and filled, and I never give you the things to warm you and fill you.

That is just noise.

Beware of the “false teachers”, what they offer is “just noise”!

Consciously Aware that “He Lives” and that’s “All You Need To Know”,

And Watch What Happens!
