Can You Stay In God's Home?
Lord, who may stay with you, in your own home? Who may live there, on your holy hill? It is the person who does only things that are right. It is the person who lives in a completely good way, and who speaks only what he knows is true. He says nothing bad against other people. He does nothing that will hurt his friends, nor does he insult them. He does not respect wicked people, but he does respect people who serve the Lord. When he promises to do something, he always does it. He lends money to help other people, and he does not ask for more money in return. He does not accept a bribe, to speak against people who have done nothing wrong. People who live like this will always be safe. (Psalms 51:1-5)
Can You Stay In God’s Home?
Our Daily Nugget is describing the
Character of Kingdom Citizens; this character is bounded in “Sincerity and Truth”.
Darkness is “wrongdoing”, Light is “Right Doing”.
Light and darkness cannot occupy the same place at the same time, ask it again,
“Can You Stay in God’s Home”?
These are explanations of what righteousness (right living) looks like, not an explanation of how one can prove their righteousness to God. To live a life that is the opposite of these characteristics is evidence that
“You Cannot Stay in God’s Home”.
Everything that we do physically is due to what we did mentally before we do the physical. Each one of the characteristics are “Loving Your Neighbor As You Love Yourself”. Love is the “Fulfillment of the Law”.
People who Love, will always be “safe”,
God sees to it; they can stay in God’s Presence”. Selfish people cannot Love.
The more we give, and do for others, the more God will give and do for us.
To stay in God’s Home, in His Presence, we must put the Holy Spirit in charge of our “Thinking Process”. All our living is the fruit of our Thinking. To live our Daily Nugget, we must “die to self” and “chose to live for God”. Living for God shows itself in our “loving our neighbors as we love ourselves”.
People who Love
understands that it is “better to give than to receive” and “live accordingly”.
We cannot Love the Lord and Love the World!
To love the world is to make ourselves an enemy of God.
Fresh water and salt water “cannot flow” from the “same faucet”!
We will never be able to Live Our Daily Nugget if we Love the World.
Each of the characteristics listed in our Daily Nugget is like a “seed” planted in life. Seeds grow into plants and trees and produce fruit “of its kind”, multiplied, coming back to us. To do those things for others, is really doing those things for ourselves.
Remember, God Loves A Cheerful Giver; Give Love! Love Is Doing.
When we are in God’s Home, His Presence, we can have the
“desires of our heart/mind”. This is what God promises to us when we Love Him.
Loving God is Loving Our Neighbor.
Sin filled living is not allowed in God’s Home.
Ask God To Bless you to
“Live a Life of Love” that you might “Enter Into and Stay in His Presence”,
And Watch What Happens.
