                                                          I Can’t; I Don’t Own Me!

 

This is “no longer” my body, I sold it to Jesus for Salvation!

 

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?  Shall I then take a member of Christ and make them members of a harlot?  Certainly not!  Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her?  For “the two”, He says, “shall become one flesh”.  But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him?   Flee sexual immorality.  Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. For you were bought at a price; therefore, “honor” God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.    

(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

 

Honor – High respect; great esteem.  Adherence to what is right or to a Biblical

              standard of conduct.  Fulfill an obligation or to keep an agreement.

 

If I do not “honor” God with my body, 

I can’t teach my children to honor God with their body.  

I “will” teach my children “what I am”, I have no choice, it’s automatic.

 

Think about how God takes it when we “Dishonor Him”!

Consider what is happening in our Thinking Process that leads us to Dishonor God.

 

We “Will” either Honor God or Dishonor God With Our (Jesus’) Body!

 

I’ve Been “Bought” With A Price!

This Body and Mind “Now Belongs to Jesus”!

I Can No Longer Use Jesus’ Body to do What I Want To!

There are a multitude of ways we can dishonor with our bodies.

 

Our Daily Nugget is focused on “Sexual Immorality”!

“All Sexual Intercourse” outside of marriage is “sexual immorality”!

This is the Bible; this is what Kingdom Citizens are told to practice and to teach.

 

I heard an assistant pastor, who is now a senior pastor tell a group of young adults that, “it was okay to have sex with someone if you love them”.  This is past horrible, its demonic.  This is how false teachers operate; beware of false teachers. 

 

As long as the “the light of God’s Word” is on in our heart/mind, the darkness of sexual immorality cannot come.  If you want to obey God and live free of sexual immorality you can, if you don’t want to obey God, but really wants to be taken captive by the demon of sexual immorality, you will be.

 

To a great deal, 

it boils down to “What do you really Want”? 

Do you want to be made whole, or do you want to enjoy sin for a season?

God Knows!

 

Sexual immorality

is the only sin that we commit where we sin against our own bodies. 

 Consider the many kinds of sicknesses that comes from sexual immorality.

 

We are “In the World, but We are “Not of the World”.

 

Ask God to Bless you with the Wisdom to 

“Honor Him with His Body by Keeping It Free of Sexual Immorality”,

And Watch What Happens!

Care.
