Let the "Helper" "Help"!

And your “ears” shall hear a “word” behind you, say, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.  (Isaiah 30:21)

If you love me, keep My commandments.  And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be with you.  I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.  (John 14:15-18)

 

Let The “Helper” “Help”!

 

The Helper is the Holy Spirit”! God gave us a Helper, 

because He knew we could not make it in this foreign land, own our on!

A sin-filled lifestyle “hinders” the Helper from Helping us.

 

Before Jesus’ death burial and resurrection, 

the Holy Spirit “helped us” from the “outside of us”.  After the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit “now” dwells “in” our heart/mind, and He now helps us from the inside of us.  This is how “God Is With Us”!  When God is with us, no one can stand against us.

 

The “More” that God’s Word is guiding and leading our “Thinking”,

The more we will be able to “hear” and “obey” the Holy Spirit as He leads us to make the “right choices”; He directs us around the “wrong choices”.

 

The Helper Helps us to “Make The Right Choices in Life”!

Right Choices Leads to “Life”, wrong Choices leads to “Death”! 

The Helper, helping us, makes us look more and more like Jesus, each day.

 

When we say, “I had a feeling”,

that is either the Holy Spirit or the Demonic Spirit, speaking to us.

The Holy Spirit is leading us in the paths of righteousness (right living).

The Demonic Spirit is leading us in the paths of unrighteousness (wrong living).

 

The “desires of our heart/mind”

has a great deal to do with which voice we will “hear” and “follow”!

 

Our “knowledge” of The Holy, “The Bible”,

also has a great deal to do with which voice we will “hear” and “follow”!

 

In our Daily Nugget

Jesus said, “if” you Love Me you will “Keep My Commandments”! 

 

His commandments are two:

1.    Love the Lord with “All your Heart/Mind (Thinking).

2.    Love your neighbor as you love yourself.  

(Do for others what you would like them to do for you).

 

We Love the Lord when we Obey The Bible.  Love is “doing what the Lord has told us to do”.  If there is no obedience to the Lord’s Words, there is no Love for the Lord. When satisfying our self’s desires is the most important thing to us, we will not be able to “hear nor obey the Holy Spirit”.  The Holy Spirit will tolerate no rivals, He is like God. He must have first place in our heart/mind, then, He will direct us.

 

We cannot “do our thing” and expect to be blessed by God when we refuse to do His Thing, His Will.  His Thing is for us to “Love Him” and “To Love Our Neighbor”!

 

Humility will say to us, “Ask the Lord to Help You”.

Pride will say to us, “You’re smart, you don’t need to ask”, you know what to do.

 

Too Often, The Wrong Choices bring “death” to our households.

Humble yourself today, that God might lift you up tomorrow, with the ability to

Hear and Obey the Holy Spirit; thus, bringing salvation to our households.

 

Ask God to Bless you With the Wisdom to Let the 

Helper Help You,

And Watch What Happens.
