Living Water!

                                                                    Living Water!

 

This “Living Water” is not H2O, it is the Holy Spirit “guiding” Our Living!

 

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is ‘thirsty’ come to me and drink”.  Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, “rivers” of living water “will flow” from them.”  (John 7:37&38)

 

Thirsty – Having or showing a strong desire for something!

We, Kingdom Citizens is to “thirst” after Righteousness (Right Living). 

 

Our Daily Nugget 

is a parable about how we, Kingdom Citizens should live among people who are thirsty (lost, without hope).  Jesus, himself is in Heaven; we are His arms, legs, and mouths. While He was on earth “Rivers of Living Water (The Holy Spirit) flowed from Him on all who “believed”, as He and the Holy Spirit are one.    

 

In another area of scripture Jesus offered a woman living water; she said, yes, give me some of that living water so that I do not have to come to this well anymore to draw water.  She thought Jesus was talking about H2O, or she was exercising a “froward mouth”, what we today call a “smart mouth”, another way of saying it, a dumb mouth.  God said that He hates, the froward mouth (smart mouth or dumb mouth).

 

Jesus said, once you have been “strengthened”, go and get your brother!

The Living Water (Holy Spirit) was sent by Jesus to us, to “Help Us” to do this. This is an example of Kingdom Citizens “Carrying Their Cross”.


We are now “Ambassadors and Soldiers of The King Jesus”.

We must Represent Well, the world is depending on us.

We realize, one plant, one water and God increase.

Therefore we “Trust God”!

 

We, Kingdom Citizens, 

are the “Light of The World” and there is no other “Light for the World”.

 

This command to go and get your brother is telling us that the thirsty (unsaved) people are waiting on us to quench their thirst with “The Word”; “never” with what we think or feel.   Jesus has given us Kingdom Citizens everything we need to carry out this command; for we “believe”.

 

The Living Water (The Holy Spirit) will guide

the Kingdom Citizen to the people who are thirsty and will light their way to Jesus.

 

A sin-filled life will not allow the Living Water (The Holy Spirit) to “Flow” through them onto the thirsty.  A sin-filled life is evidence that the individual has not “died to self”.  We cannot “Live for God” until we die to self.  Fresh water and salt water cannot flow from the same faucet.

 

Sincerity and Truth “Must Rein” in our Heart/Mind!

This lets us know that our “Motives” are acceptable and pleasing to God.

 

Always keep in our hearts/minds, the fact that

The Spirit World “controls and guides” The Physical World.

 

This Living Water is “The Holy Spirit”, He will “flow through us onto others who are thirsty”.  We must be about God’s Business before this can occur.  Living Water, the Holy Spirit, “will not” flow from us if we are sin-filled and about our business and not about God’s Business.

 

Ask God to Bless You With the Wisdom to Live in A Way to Allow

“Living Water to Flow Through You Onto Others”

And Watch What Happens!
