Insight.

                                                                           Insight.

Let’s See, said the Blind Man!

Cry out for “insight” and ask for understanding.  Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.  Then you will understand what it means to “fear” the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God.  For the Lord grants wisdom!  From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.  He grants a treasure of “common sense” to the honest.  He is a “shield” to those who walk with integrity.  He ”guards” the paths of the just and “protects” those who are “faithful” to him.

(Proverbs 2:3-8)

Insight is more important than understanding.

Understand – To perceive the intended meaning of words, or a speaker.

Our Daily Nugget

is telling us that if we cry out for insight and ask for understanding and to “search” for them as silver or hidden treasures, then we will understand what it means to “Fear the Lord”.  To Fear the Lord is an extremely pleasing act to God.  To fear the Lord is to hate evil, pride, arrogancy, the froward mouth and the evil way.  The fear of the Lord is “not about being scared of Him”; its more about respecting and honoring the Lord and His Word.

Insight is an even deeper level of knowing and understanding God’s principles.  It is seeing how different biblical truths fit together; it is understanding the “big picture” of God’s Plan and having a deep awareness of “how to ‘apply’ biblical principles” to the “Way We Live” and “do our jobs every day”.

Insight gives us the ability to “Live By Faith”!

Without Faith it is impossible for us to Please God!

Without Insight we are in a state of perpetual “doubt”!

Insight breeds confidence and surety, as we can now “see” clearly.

Insight protects us from deception in “all forms”, especially lying, a popular form.

Studying the Bible and prayer are two prerequisites for Insight!

The Life of the Kingdom Citizen is about “Living” like the Bible says.

Ask God to Bless You

with the wisdom to “Cry out for ‘Insight’; and to ‘Ask’ for Understanding”

and Watch What Happens to Your “Ability to See”!
