The Art of Happiness!
Both Happiness and Unhappiness are determined by our “Thinking Process”!
Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous (right liviers); sing all you “who are upright in heart (mind)". (Psalms 32:11)
Happiness is found in the “Presence of the Lord”!
There is an “Art” to Everything, including “Happiness”!
Happiness – A state of pleasure or joy experienced both by people and by God.
Happiness – Is “Joy”, promised to us by God.
When the Bible mentions happiness, it is speaking of something that is self-contained. The happiness the Bible advocates isn’t dependent on circumstances. The words “bless” and “blessed” in both the Old and New Testament illustrate why this is true.
Happiness began with “Thinking Right”.
In the Bible the words happiness and joy are used interchangeably.
One writer’s expression of happiness and joy. Joy is an inner feeling. Happiness is an outward expression. Joy endures hardship and trials and connects with meaning and purpose. A person pursues happiness but chooses joy.
Pursue Happiness!
The Bible tells us that if we seek, we shall find. Our life follows our focus. Focusing, thinking on, our problems assures us that we will have more of them. Focusing, thinking on, our solutions assure us that more of our problems will be solved.
Within our Daily Nugget lies the “Art” of “Happiness”
Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous (right liviers); sing all you “who are upright in heart (mind)". “Rejoicing in the Lord” is something we can do whenever we “decide” to; it has nothing to do with our environment our circumstances. “Be glad”, this is something else we can do whenever we chose to. “Your righteousness (right living)”, will lead to happiness. Sin will lead to unhappiness. This is the “destiny” of the people who are “upright in heart/mind”.
