Committed!

                                                                          Committed!

Victory or Defeat Lies in our “Commitment”!

Commit to the Lord “whatever” you do, and your plans “will succeed”.  (Pro. 16:3)

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord “determines” his steps. (Pro. 16:9)

And since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy, their descendants will also be holy-just as the entire batch of dough is holy “because the portion given as an offering is holy”.  For if the “roots” of the tree are holy, the branches will be, too.  (Romans 11:16)

When we “Commit” the “First Portion” to The Lord,

The Lord blesses, care for, see after, protects the Rest of that which was Committed!

Our Daily Nugget

scriptures are giving us a “Formula for Success”.  If we “commit” the first of “it” to The Lord, “All of ‘It’ Becomes Holy”.  First thing in the morning, committing “that day” to the Lord through prayer, bible reading, asking the Lord to guide us that day is giving the first part of that day to the Lord, we do this in our heart/mind.

Now we have made that whole day holy.  We have positioned ourselves to better hear and obey the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit knows if we have made this day holy or not.  It makes a real difference in how our day goes.

If we do not commit “it” to the Lord, we by default commit “it” to Satan; rather we “feel like it or not”.  Jesus said if you are not working for me you are working against me; this statement is not based on how we feel, but on “what we do”.  We probably do not “feel like” we are working for Satan or against Jesus, but our feelings do not determine what is, what we “Do” or “Don’t Do”, shows what we are; committed or uncommitted.

Is your household blessed or cursed?  Have you “committed” your household, yourself, your spouse, your children to the Lord.  If you have not, they are still committed to Satan.  God’s hand of protection is on the “committed” heart/mind, for through our “Thinking” we make our households, blessed, or cursed.

Abraham’s Committed Heart is How we are all blessed today!

Our Committed Hearts is How we will bless our households and our neighbors!
