The Betrayer.

                                                                       The Betrayer.

There is the Betrayer and the Betrayed.

Jesus taught his disciples that betrayals are inevitable, and that the guilty party “Will Face Great Devastation”.  (Luke 17:1)

Where Betrayal Reigns, Love Doesn’t Reign There.

Betray – To deliver into the hands of the enemy by treachery or fraud.

To betray someone is to “violate their trust in you” to do what you say or to have your interest in their heart/mind.  When we betray someone, “we let them down”, bigtime.  There is the “betrayed” and there is the “betrayer”.  Never try to “get someone back” or “make them pay” because they betrayed you.

Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that it is “inevitable that we will be betrayed” and the betrayer will face “Great Devastation”.  Never try to make a betrayer pay, God will do that.  To make a betrayer pay is to “steal God’s vengeance”.

It is not easy to resist the temptation to make the betrayer pay, by our own actions.  We must “wait” on God to act; to make sure that they meet Great Devastation.  Always remember, God is totally aware and involved in everything we do or say; God does not sleep and He efficiently “Runs His World”.

We receive Great Blessing when we are sincere and truthful, and we receive Great Devastation when we betray another’s trust in us.

Look at how Jesus says, we should treat the betrayer.

It were better for him that a millstone were hanged on his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend (betray) one of these little ones.  Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass (betray) against thee, “rebuke him”;  and if he repents, forgive him.  And if he trespasses (betray) against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shall forgive him.

(Luke 17:2-4)

Ask God to Bless
