Why Should I Forgive?

 

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.  (Matthew 6:14-15)

Do not judge, and you will not be judged.  Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.  Forgive, and you will be forgiven.  (Luke 6:37)

 

Set yourself “Free”; “Forgive”!

 

Forgive – To no longer hold sin or an offense done to you against someone.

                To let it go, “with a right attitude”, kind, gentle, sincere, humble.

 

The fact that we all are born in sin, is our sin against God.  As we live, we sin against one another.  Therefore, we all are guilty as a dog, but free as a bird in Christ Jesus.  To be “Free in Christ Jesus”, we Must Forgive one another.

 

Our Daily Nugget is telling us that God Will Not Forgive Us, “If We Do Not Forgive Others”.  To forgive and to refuse to forgive starts “between our ears, through Thinking”. The Holy Spirit is saying to us, “Forgive and Let it Go”; the Demonic Spirit is saying to us, they did you wrong, “Gettem, Make them Pay”.

 

Consider this scenario; A man was thrown in prison for breaking the law.  The judge said to the man, you have been found guilty and must serve your time.  The judge said, we are going to give you the key to your prison cell, you can unlock the door to your cell whenever you like and walk away free.  The Key is called “Forgiveness”.

 

Many prisoners spend many years in prison, even though they have The Key.

Why would anyone choose to spend all this time in prison and choose not to use The Key? “The Demon of Pride”.  The demon of pride is an amazing creature.  He makes you think that he is on your side; and that right is wrong and wrong is right. 

 

Pride – A prideful person is self-absorbed, indifferent to others, and forgets about

            Christ (Love).  The demon of pride cannot dwell in a Heart/Mind that is 

            committed to “Love”.  The “Light of Love” will drive to “Darkness of Pride” 

            far away from the Kingdom Citizen.

 

Ask God to Bless You With the

Desire and the Wisdom to “Forgive” and Watch the demon of pride, “Flee”.

Always remember; to make them pay is to refuse to use the Key for your Freedom.
