The Word or the World?

 

“Today” I have given you “The Choice” between life and death, between blessings and curses.  Now I call heaven and earth to witness “The Choice” you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!   (Deuteronomy 30:19)

 

Life or Death, Blessings or Curses!

The Word guides to the Right Choice, the World guides to the Wrong Choice.


Our Daily Nugget is telling us that:  Each day is a new “Today”.  When a new Today begin another yesterday becomes history, the past.  We cannot change the history nor the past; therefore, all we really have is “Today”. Each day God gives us “The Choice” to choose Life or Death, Blessings or Curses.  

 

When we choose to allow The Word to direct our choices, we are Choosing Life for ourselves and for our descendants; when we allow the World to direct our choices, we are choosing death for ourselves and for our households.  God, each day, is giving us the same choice He gave to Adam and Eve, the opportunity to Live or Die, to be Blessed or Cursed. Their choice is life or death for them and their descendants.

 

To Obey or to Disobey, to Sin or Not to Sin.

Adam and Eve did not “have to sin”, they could have Obeyed.  It was not “Okay” for Adam and Eve to sin by doing something that God told them not to do.  For Adam and Eve to do something that God said not to do brought death to them and to their descendants. It will also bring curses and death to us and to our descendants. 

 

Understand this; The Salvation that Jesus Offers, “The Word”, does not allow us to “Willfully” “Disobey God”.  The “salvation” that the World offers allows us to go on deliberately sinning “after” we say we believe. We can only believe the Word or the World, no one can believe both; one will be real, the other will not be real.  Look at what God says about this in His Word, the Bible.  Religion and tradition are the World, “The Bible is the Only Word”.

 

For if we go on sinning “deliberately” “after” receiving the Knowledge of Truth, “there no longer remains a sacrifice (Jesus is the only sacrifice) for sins”, “But a fearful expectation of judgement”, and a “fury of fire” that will consume the adversaries.  (Hebrews 10:26-27). This scripture is for “All People”.

 

                                “Prayerfully”, ask God to Bless You with 

    “Clear Understanding of This Word”, and the “Desire to Live in Obedience to 

            This Word” and Watch What Happens to You and to Your descendants.
