The Righteous.
The Righteous.
Will “Trust in the Lord”.
Offer the “Sacrifices of the Righteous” and “Trust in the Lord”. (Psalms 4:5)
Though He slay me, yet will I Trust in Him. (Job 13:15)
The “Sacrifice of the Righteous”. The Righteous are not people who
“never commit sin”, the Righteous are people who “never commit to sinning”.
Our Daily Nuggets
are about two “Righteous Men”, King David and Job. King David was being punished for something that he did wrong, and Job was being punished for something he did right. One might ask; why would God allow punishment for something one does that is right. The answer, “for many possible reasons”, His Ways are far above our ways; the reason doesn’t matter at this point, what matters at this point is “Trust in The Lord”.
Trust – To “believe” in the reliability, truth, ability or strength of something.
The message to us today is “Trust In The Lord” is the answer to our dilemmas rather we did right to cause it or rather we did wrong to cause it. David “repented of his sin” and trusted in the Lord for deliverance from his dilemmas. Job remained faithful and continued to Trust in the Lord through his dilemmas and God delivered him.
To Trust in the Lord is to “depend” on the Lord for deliverance; to not Trust in the Lord is to “depend” on self for deliverance. Trusting in Self cannot deliver victory, Trusting in the Lord can deliver Victory. Always remember, “Our Deliverer is Coming, He is Always Standing By”, ready to deliver when He detects “Trust in our Heart/Mind”.
Concerning any dilemmas that come up in our lives; Trust in the Lord is the answer. Hiding God’s Word, the Bible, in our heart/mind leads us to Trust in Him, when the storms of life arise. Sometimes we may cause the storm, sometimes we may not cause the storm, but Trust In The Lord Is Always the Answer to our Storms.
God has told us that He will not reject a humbled and a repented heart/mind. Job was being punished unjustly, without cause on his part, but he was “patient” and remained faithful. His faithfulness led him to say, Even though you slay me, yet will I Trust In You. This is a mentality that “Assures Victory” over any dilemma. Faith and Patience are always required for a Trusting Heart/Mind to rein in our Thinking.
“If We Repent and Trust and be Righteous”, God cannot let us down.
We do not have to experience the shame of defeat; “Trust Today for Victory”.
