Our Bodies are the Temple of God.

 

All who “declare” that Jesus is the Son of God have God “Living in Them”, and they “Live in God”. (1 John 4:15)

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.  (1 Corinthians 3:16&17)

 

God Living in the Temple and the Temple Living in God.

When God Lives in the Temple, the Temple Loves the Lord and their Neighbors.

 

Declare – To make known or to set forth.

                To announce or express something clearly and publicly.

 

What We Do Speaks “so loud” Till No One Hears What We Say!

Is the Son of God Living in you and do you Live in the Son of God?  How does one have Jesus living in them and how does one Live in Jesus?  We must keep God’s Temple Clean and Pure.  We do not have to defile God’s Temple!

 

The Temple is not defiled due to what enters the Temple through our mouths, food or drink; the Temple is destroyed due to what our mouths say, and what our bodies do, which is due to the “Thinking of our Heart/Mind”.  To “Love” the Lord and our Neighbor is evidence that we are “Keeping God’s Temple Clean and Pure”.

 

We Destroy God’s Temple by “Refusing to Love”!

To Love is not optional for the Kingdom Citizen, it’s evidence of Kingdom Citizenship. God tells us in the Bible that if we say that we are God’s Temple and do not Love our brother, that we are liars, and God’s Word does not dwell in us. Love is not determined by us being a democrat or a republican; nor being rich or poor.  

 

I strongly suspect that there will be democrats and republicans in heaven and in hell. Do you “Love your neighbor as you Love yourself”; that lets us know if we defiled the Temple?  Placing our political parties ahead of Love is a way that we “Defile God’s Temple”.  God’s Temple is focused on “Spiritual Things”, not physical, worldly, things.  Political parties are worldly things, not spiritual things.

 

Before we become a Kingdom Citizen, we go through a reformation of the Heart/Mind, we call it “Being Born Again” and becoming a “New Creature”.  New Creatures focus on Keeping The Temple Clean and Pure.  Love is the “scrub brush” that we use to Keep God’s Temple Clean, Pure and Undefiled.  

 

We will Love or we will Defile God’s Temple; he who refuses to love, hates.
