Clutter!
Clutter!
The Demon of “Clutter”?
A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away. (Ecc. 3:6)
The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. (Luke 8:14)
There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches “kept” for the owners thereof to their hurt. (Ecc. 5:13)
It Is Better to “Give than to Receive”; “Giving Prevents Clutter & Hoarding”.
Clutter and hoarding prevent Order. In the absence of Order, there will be “Disorder”. Clutter and hoarding will lead to Disorder, they can be physical (Things) or spiritual (Thinking). There is no Victory in Disorder only defeat.
Clutter – Anything that prevents a person from living a life of value, or from
accomplishing their goals.
Hoarding Disorder – Is where someone acquires an “excessive number” of items and
stores them in a “chaotic manner”, usually resulting in unmanageable
amounts of “clutter”.
Avoid the “Dead Sea Mentality”! Do not insist on a Dead Sea Mentality – Nothing lives or dies in the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is a body of water that has inlets, but no outlets. The Dead Sea receives but never gives, it hoards everything that it receives for itself. The Dead Sea is filled with Clutter because the Dead Sea is a Hoarder.
Obedience to the Command to Love protects us from the Dead Sea Mentality. When we refuse to “Love our neighbor as we Love ourselves” we automatically default to the Dead Sea Mentality. We will view “everything” as “something that I need for me”; therefore “I Can’t Give” to you because I have a Dead Sea Mentality.
Blessings from God will not compete with our Dead Sea Mentality. God blesses us when we give, do for, one another; this is how God provides for us all, it is through us giving from what has been given to us. One might say, “I worked for what I got”; we are able to work to receive, due to, God’s Blessing on us, not because we are so smart and efficient. The Bible says, “All Good Things Come From God”; they come from God to people through people.
Ask God to Bless You To Choose to Give
over Choosing to Receive as Giving is Protection from the Demon of Clutter.
