Praise Him.
Praise Him.
Thanksgiving - The Companion of Praise.
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be “praised”, and I am saved from my enemies. (Psalms 18:3)
Jesus asked, Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner? Then He said to them, Rise and go; your faith has made you well. (Luke 17:17-19)
A Grateful Spirit leads to Praise, an Ungrateful Spirit does not.
Grateful - Refers to an attitude of ”appreciation and thankfulness”, recognizing God’s grace and provision in our lives. It’s a fundamental aspect of Faith, reflecting a “heart (mind) attuned to God’s Sovereignty”.
Praise - Refers to “Lifting God Up”. It is the “joyful” recounting of what God has done for us and offer appreciation for who He is. Praise is the acknowledgment of all the wonderful, righteous deeds of God. God is worthy of praise.
There is the Grateful and there is the Ungrateful.
The one leper who returned to Praise God by saying Thank You was grateful, the other nine were ungrateful. When we are Grateful and Thankful we “position” our selves for more Blessings from the Lord; when we are Ungrateful we position ourselves for no more blessings from the Lord.
This attitude and action are important enough that God choose to put this incident in the Bible, our instruction manual. The works that Jesus did while He was on earth could not be contained in millions of Books; out of all His acts, the leper incident was placed in the Bible for us to know the importance of Praising God through being Thankful.
What do you think about a person who never say Thank You?
How quickly are you ready to help a person again, who never thanked you before?
The Destiny of Two Sons:
A man had two sons, he blessed them equally, one son was Grateful and Praised his father by saying Thank You; the other son was too ungrateful to Praise his father and never said Thank You; one son received more blessings, the other did not.
Praise Him, He Is Worthy to be Praised; We are on our way to Heaven!
