Forbearance.
Forbearance.
“Love” is “Forbearing” with One Another.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, “Bearing” with one another “In Love”. (Ephesians 4:2)
It is Impossible to Love, without a Spirit of Forbearance.
When we Forbear, we give the Holy Spirit “Time” to Show us The Way.
Forbear - To stop; to cease; to hold from proceeding; to pause, to delay, to abstain.
Forbearance - A fruit of the Spirit that allows for compassion, and self-control.
Our Daily Nugget
is Paul telling the Church at Ephesus and us, that Jesus requires us to “Forbear One With Another”. To forbear one with another allows “The Spirit of Unity” to work. If we are not Unified we are Divided. In Unity is Strength, in Division is Weakness and Defeat.
A jealous, selfish, and an inconsiderate “spirit” will not allow its host to forbear with anyone; this spirit is led by a “Me First or a Me Only Mentality”. God says, “we should consider others more highly than ourselves”. To refuse to Forbear is sin. If Jesus had no forbearance with us, none of us would be saved; we all would still be on our way to hell. Our forbearing with others can lead them to Jesus.
To Forbear, is evidence that we are Kingdom Citizens.
To be led by a Spirit of Retribution, Vengeance, is evidence that the Spirit of Forbearance does not dwell in that heart/mind. This spirit attempts to steal God’s vengeance and makes the one stealing an enemy of God. There will be “No Peace, No Joy, No Unity, and eventually No Hope”. Without Forbearance there is “No Community”, only different groups “Fighting over, They Don’t Even Know What”. People led by Demonic Spirits always cause fights and divisions concerning everything they get involved in. This is the Satan, roaming around, taking over the heart/mind of those who refuse to forbear, due to a Selfish and Inconsiderate Spirit.
God blesses the heart/mind that Forbear with their brother.
Times of Adversity gives us some Great Opportunities to Forbear.
God curses the heart/mind that is too inconsiderate to Forbear with their brother.
God Forbears with us, as we Forbear with One Another.
