Chasing The Wind.
Chasing The Wind.
Vanity of Vanities. All Is Vanity.
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; “All Is Vanity”. (Ecclesiastes 1:2)
I have seen “All” the works which have been done under the sun, and behold, “All Is Vanity”, a futile grasping and “Chasing After The Wind”. (Ecclesiastes 1:14)
Our Daily Nugget Is Telling Us That:
Without A Proper Focus on God, Life is Like Chasing the Wind.
Only What we Do For Christ Will Last and Be Counted in The End!
Ecclesiastes states powerfully and repeatedly that “everything is meaningless, useless”, (vanity), “Without A Proper Focus On God”. Ecclesiastes reveals the “necessity of ‘Fearing God’ in a Fallen and frequently Confusing and Frustrating World”.
Do we spend more time preparing for retirement or preparing to Meet Jesus?
In our society today do you notice Christians living like this or do you notice Christians “Chasing the Wind Like Everybody Else, the world”? We are Chasing the Wind when we “Place Anything Above the Bible”. Including and perhaps by far the most is “Religions and Traditions”, “Without The Bible Leading the Way”.
Do You Know the Last Time You “Studied the Bible”?
Sadly to say, Most Christians Do Not Know The Last Time They ‘Studied’ The Bible”. They might not know the first time. Most of the Christian Leaders, that I know and am aware of, “Do Not” even place a major emphasis on the people Studying the Bible. They place major emphasis on people “Hearing and Obeying them”. Many of these leaders fit the definition of “False Teachers”.
False teachers are leading people to the same place they are going; To Hell.
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you “Hypocrites”! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much of a child of hell as you are. (Matthew 23:15)
Walk with God’s Word, the Bible;
That’s Not Vanity nor Useless. Religion and Tradition without the Word is Vanity.
