The “Sound of Silence”.
The “Sound of Silence” is “Very Loud”.

Our Daily Nugget
is two situations in the Bible showing the “Power and the Wisdom” of “Silence”. There is a “Time to Speak”, and “A Time to Refrain from Speaking”. Rather we are possessed by a Spirit of Wisdom or a Spirit of Foolishness is shown in, “Our Silence or Lack Thereof”.
Being “Slow to Speak” is Obedience to Scripture and Wise Actions, which is the Fruit of Wise Thinking. It is not wise to Trust a person who Can’t Control their Tongue. An Out of Control Tongue is the Fruit of a “Out Of Control Thinking Process”, Heart/Mind. The Bible says that the mouth speaks what the heart/mind has been filled with.
The Sound of Silence, can mean many things!
The Inhabitants of Jericho were “Terrified” at The “Sound of Silence”.
Silence - A sign of wisdom and restraint, a posture of “Reverence” and “Awe” before God, a period of “lament and suffering”, or a way to listen to God’s “Voice and Presence”.
The Walls of Jericho fell as the people Obeyed God’s Commands to be Silent and Trust, and to Shout when it was time to Shout. There is a Time to Shout and a Time to Be Silent. The Holy Spirit will Tell us when to do both, “As We Lean And Depend On Him”.
