The Word!

                                                                            The Word!

What are we to do with The Word?

Do not merely listen to the Word, and “So Deceive Yourselves”.  “Do What It Says”.  Anyone who listens to the Word but “Does Not Do What It Says” is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.  But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, “And Continues In It”, not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it, “they will be blessed in what they do”.

(James 1:22-25)

The Word “Saves” Those Who Believe and are Obedient To It’s Command.

Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that we must accept God’s Word as The Way Of Living “And” we Must Continue to “Walk, Live, in God’s Word”.  It is also telling us that if we “Do Not Walk, Live According to God’s Word, the Bible”, that we are Deceiving ourselves to “Think That We Are Saved”, because we said we believe.

Obedience does not Save, Belief Saves.

Obedience and Continuing in Obedience is the Evidence that we Believe.

Jesus, The Word, The Bible, said, “not everybody who calls me Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom”, “But Only Those Who Do The Will Of the Father”.  The “Will of The Father Is”, that “We Love the Lord and that we Love our Neighbor”.

God gave us The Word, not only to Save us, but to Direct Our Paths.  He said, that The Word is a Lamp for our feet, and a light for our Path.  Without the Word, we have no direction, we cannot “See”.  Life with and without the Word is a life lived in Darkness without Hope.

To start each day with the Word, is like waking up each morning in a dark room, with the Light Switch on your nightstand.  There are many objects in that dark room and as you move around in that dark room, you’re likely to stumble, because you can’t “See”.  Now just hit the Light Switch, The Bible, on your night stand.  Now “You Can See”, all the objects that had made you stumble are right there, but now you can “See” them and not stumble over them.

Obey “The Word” and “Enjoy the Kingdom”

Prepared For You.
