What Would "You Like"?

                                                                What Would “You Like”?

Consider others “More Highly” than yourself.

At Gibson the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask For Whatever You Want Me To Give You”.  (1 Kings 3:5)

So give your servant “A Discerning Heart/Mind” to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong.  For who is able to govern this great people of yours.  (1 Kings 3:9)

What would you ask for and why would you ask for that?

Our Daily Nugget

is about King Solomon’s answer to God when God asked him; “What Would You Like Me To Give You”?  If the richest man on the planet asked you, “what would you like me to give you”?  Would your answer be about Pleasing God or Pleasing Self?  If we Love the Lord, our answer would be for something that we could use to “Love Others With”.  If we love Self, our answer would be for something that we could “Love Self With”.

When our Main Goal is to

“Provide for Others”, God's Main Goal is to “Provides for Us”.

Our “Desire” to Please God and to Please self, both, starts between our ears through “Thinking”.  Our Living follows our Thinking.  OurThinking is guided by “what we have consumed in our Thinking Process”.  The things we see, the things we hear, the things we meditate on; this is how “things” enter into our Thinking Process.  Thinking is Spiritual Activity that Guides our Physical Activity.

We Think about murdering before we murder, we Think about stealing before we steal, we Think about Loving before we Love, we Think about hating before we hate.  Thinking about doing hurtful or harmful things to people identifies us as “wicked”.  To go “Do” the hurtful or harmful things we thought of to people is “Evil”.  Are you wicked and evil?

We, God’s People, are instructed to

“Never Love the World nor the Things in the world.

We cannot “Love the Word” and “love the world”.  If we love the world, the Love of God is not in us.

Consider the Words of this Daily Nugget when God ask you,

“What Would You Like”?
