Ashamed of Jesus.

                                                                      Ashamed of Jesus.

Are You Ashamed of Jesus’ Way and His Words?

Then He called the crowd to Him along with His Disciples and said:  Whoever wants to be My Disciples “must deny themselves” and “take up their cross and follow me”.  For whoever wants to save their life “will lose it”, but whoever “loses their life for Me and the Gospel  will save it”.  What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?  If anyone is “Ashamed” of Me and My Words  in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be Ashamed of them when He comes in His Father’s Glory with the Holy Angels.  (Mark 8:34-38)

There is The “Way of The Cross” and “The Way of The World”!

Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that in order to be Jesus’ Disciples we must “Deny Ourselves of What We Want” and to “Take Up Our Cross”; which is to Die to Our Worldly Way of Living and to Start Living Like Holy People.  On our own we can not do this; if we try we will fail and run the risk of losing our soul to attain worldly things and stuff.  Additionally if we are “Ashamed” of what the Bible Requires of us to do on earth, Jesus will be Ashamed of us before God, the Father; at The Judgement.

Ashamed - A profound, public, or internal sense of disgrace, confusion, or humiliation resulting from sin, failure, or the exposure of guilt.  It signifies a loss of honor, often, indicating a disturbed relationship with God or a broken moral, spiritual, or social standing.

Cross - Symbolizes the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ to atone for humanity’s sins, bridging the gap between God and humanity.  It represents God’s Love, Redemption, and Victory over death and sin.  It also calls Believers to “self-denial and to follow Jesus Daily”.

There is a Cross for Everyone!

How Do We Show that We Are Ashamed of Jesus?

The Way of the world, is natural, we are born desiring it; its called our sinful nature.  To accept Christ is to Die to This Way and Replace it in our Thinking Process, our Heart/Mind, to The Way the Bible say we should NOW THINK.

To Choose the Biblical Way over our way means,

“We Are Not Ashamed”.
