The Crown of Glory.

                                                                   The Crown of Glory.

                                                                                Lords or Servants?

To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them-not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; “Not Pursuing Dishonest Gain”, but “Eager To Serve”; “Not Lording It Over Those Entrusted To You”, but “Being Examples” to the flock.  And when the Chief Shepherds appears, you will “Receive the Crown of Glory” that will never fade.  (1 Peter 5:1-4)

A Servant Seek to “Serve”, a Lord Seek to Make “Dishonest Gain”.

Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know “The Goals” of a “Servant Elder” and a “Lord Elder”.  A Lord Elder is seeking “Dishonest Gain” (money) and will attempt to “Braw Beat People” and will “Not Be Humble”.  A Servant Elder does not seek “Dishonest Gain” (money), they seek the “Salvation of the Souls” of those “Entrusted To His Care”. “They Are Humble” and the people “Are Not His People” they are “God’s People”.   A Lord Elder will look at the people as his “Cash Cow”.

The Lord Elder, Demands that the people

 “Submit to His Will”, even though He Refuse to “Submit to God’s Will”.

Each of us can be a Servant Elder or a Lord Elder.

“Why” do we do what we do; For Money or For Love?  The Servant Elder “Does Not” look at the Church as “His Business”; The Lord Elder says, these are My People, My Business; “I Am The Boss” of this Business.

The Bible calls a

Servant Elder a “True Teacher”, it calls the Lord Elder a “False Teacher”.  Jesus says, “My Sheep Hear My Voice”, Jesus’s Sheep “does not hear the voice of the False Teacher”.  The False Teacher’s “Main Concern” is to Make Money.  The True Teacher’s Main Concern is to Make Kingdom Citizens Live and Look like Jesus.

Determine Today to Receive the Crown of Glory;

“Humble Yourself”.
