Work.
Work.
Work is a “Curse”, Due to Sin.
God said, “What have you done”! The voice of your brother’s blood is calling to Me from the ground. From now on you’ll get nothing but “curses” from this ground; you’ll be driven from this ground that has opened its arms to receive the blood of your murdered brother. You’ll farm this ground, but it will no longer give you its best. You’ll be a homeless wanderer on Earth. (Genesis 4:12)
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The man who is not willing to ‘Work’, Shall Not Eat”. (2 Thessalonians 3:10)
To “Have to Work” is a Curse. To “Not Work”, you’ll be Cursed.
Our Daily Nugget
is letting us know that God’s Original Design was for man to live in a “Garden of Eden”, “Without him having to Cultivate (Work) the Ground”. To cultivate the ground is “hard work”. To cultivate the ground is a curse on all people, “Due to, Adam’s sin”. The eyes of Adam and Eve were not opened until after Adam ate the fruit; when Eve ate the fruit, nothing happened. The command concerning eating the fruit was given “only” to Adam, as Eve had not been created when the command was given. But the curse is upon all people.
Therefore, man is cursed “to work”, and he is cursed “if he doesn’t work”. Man must now, work hard, for the land to produce. Additionally, God said if a man doesn’t work, that man should not eat. Reasoning being, “if a man gets hungry enough, he’ll go work”; to “feed himself and his household”.
Sin can be committed, “licii-d-split”.
However, “The Curse of Sin” lives on “throughout eternity”.
To work is Obedience to God’s Command. Not one of us today “Ate The Fruit”, but all of us today are under the Curse of Adam’s Sin; we all Can Also be under the Blessings of Salvation that Jesus brought to us. We all are as “guilty as a dog”, but we all are “free as a bird in Christ”, due to God’s Love, Justice and His Mercy.
To Obey the Curse to Work, turns into a Blessing.
To Work is One of the Best Things we can do for ourselves.
To refuse to work, is one of the Worst Things we can do for ourselves.
