Jesus “Stood”!


Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever “Believes In Me” Will Also Do The Works I Do; and “Greater Works Than These” will he do, because I am going to the Father.  (John 14:12)


Jesus Stood, “Therefore We Can Stand”!


Our Daily Nugget

is Jesus speaking to His Disciples in the Upper Room, promising that “Believers Will Carry On His Ministry and Accomplish Even Greater Things Through The Holy Spirit”.  This will happen for “Those Who Believe”.


The questions therefore is, 

“Do You Believe”, or “Do You Accept Jesus As A Fact”?

Kingdom Citizens “Believe”; the Unsaved Accept Jesus as a Fact, like Satan.


Believe - A deep, “Active Trust”, reliance, and personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.  It involves placing one’s Confidence in Him for Salvation, from the penalty, the power, and eventually the presence of sin; rather than oneself.  True Biblical Belief is a “Heartfelt Commitment of Life”, not merely Acknowledging Facts.


Life is filled with opportunities “To Stand” or “To Fold”.  We will Stand or Fold depending on “What We Think”!  We have total control over “What” we Think.  Solomon said for us to “Be Careful ‘What’ We Think”; for What We Think Guides What We Do and therefore, Sets the Parameters of Our Life”. 


Jesus said, 

The Things He did, that “We should do also and even Greater Things”.


Have you ever Thought that you would do “Greater Works Than Jesus Did”?  If we Think we can we’re Right; if we Think we can’t we’re Right.  Victory and Defeat, both, starts between our ears, due to “What We Think”.


Jesus Asked His Father For the Wisdom and Strength to Stand..

Jesus said, “We Have Not Because We Ask Not.

Ask Jesus for the Wisdom to Stand,

“And Watch What Happens”!
