                                                                       The Best Thing.


You are “The Best Thing” that has “Every Happened To Me”.


Indeed, I count everything as loss because of “The Surpassing Worth of Knowing Christ Jesus my Lord”.  For His sake I have suffered loss of all things and count them as rubbish, “in order that I may gain Christ”.  (Philippians 3:8)


Our Daily Nugget

                                                                                 is Paul declaring that

         “all personal achievements and earthly possessions” are garbage compared to the value of Knowing Christ.  


We can “Know Christ” and we can “Know of Christ”.

Christ is The Best Thing, when we “Know Him”.


And “By This” we Know that we have come to Know Him; “If We Keep His Commandments”.  (1 John 2:3)


I want to “Know Christ”-yes, “To Know” the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, “Becoming Like Him In His Death”.  

(Philippians 3:10)


Do you “Know Christ” or do you “Just Know of Christ”?


Christ has commanded us “To Love”.  The answer to this question lies in our “Love Life”, not in how often we attend Church Services.  Do we Love our Neighbors as we Love ourselves?  If the answer is Yes, then we “Know that we Know Christ”.  If the answer is No, then we “Only Know of Christ”.  


Love is “Not An Option” for the Kingdom Citizen.

To Love, which is to Know Christ, is not a feeling, It Is Doing For One Another.


Christ said, “We Cannot Love Him” and “Love The World”.  Jesus the Christ “Died to the World”; we “Must Become Like Him in His Death”.  What we do for or to one another is what we do to or for Christ.  Christ wants to take care of each of us, He does this through “Our Loving One Another”.  We are the arms and legs of Christ, after our Death Like Him, we are “Committed” to using our arms and legs for Christ, by serving one another.  Do you Know Him, is He the Best Thing?


When Christ Becomes “The Best Thing” to you,

Go get your Brother and “Make Christ The Best Thing” to him; this is Love!
