A Good Steward.

                                                                       A Good Steward.

Utilizes God’s Gifts to “Love”.

As each has received “a gift”, use it to “serve one another”, as “Good Stewards” of “Varied Grace”.  (1 Peter 4:10)

It is to “Utilize the Gifts Given by God” to Love, not to “Make More Money”.

Our Daily Nugget

is giving us the job of a Good Steward.  A Good Steward’s job is to use the Gifts God has given us to Serve One Another, “Not to Get Rich”.  The amount of money we make has nothing to do with rather we are good stewards of God’s Gifts or not.

Steward - A manager or overseer entrusted with managing the property, household, or affairs of another.  It signifies that God is the rightful owner of “All Things”, while we are responsible for managing His Creation, time, talents, and resources faithfully.  Note - It is Not To Just Make More Money!

Beware of the Love of Money!

Are We Looking at Money Wrongly?  The Love of Money is the root of “All Evil”.  Naked we came into this world and naked we are going out of this world.  We cannot Love money and Love people.  In the United States, we have confused being a Good Steward as “The One Who Makes The Most Money”.  This is “Monetizing Christianity”.  It has been said that in the United Staes we Monetize Everything, even our children.

Two People Who God Used Mightily.

John the Baptist - Among the poorest men who has ever lived; God called him “The Best Man” to have ever lived.  He lived on the land, had no house, no savings; he ate wild honey and grass hoppers.  He was a Great Steward; he effectively “Utilized the Gifts God gave to him”.  He did not love the world.

Solomon - God made him the richest man to have ever lived.  God said to Solomon; ask Me for anything you want and I Will Give It To You.  Solomon did not ask for Money; he asked for “Wisdom To Lead His People”.  It truly pleased God that he was not selfish, only looking for what he could get, but for what he could give.  God gave him more money than everybody; it is better “To Give”.

A Good Steward Obeys the command to

“Love the Lord” and “To Love their Neighbor”, as they “Love Themselves”!

Are You A Good Steward?
