Judge Not!
Judge Not!
Judgement or Mercy?
Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For the judgment you give will be the judgement you get, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. (Matthew 7:1-2)
No one can stand in the face of Judgement.
Judgement, always has to do with Punishment; Give Mercy.
Our Daily Nugget
is saying to us that, we should not be ready to “make people pay for what they did or for what we think they did” to us. This is what Judgement is. There is “Judging” and there is “Speaking the Truth in Love”. We are commanded to “Not Judge”; but, we are commanded to Speak the Truth in Love.
What is your “Purpose” for saying what you said? To Judge or to Love?
A person hurt a person’s “feelings”, the hurt person is now Rude and Disrespectful to the person who hurt their feelings. The hurt person is Guilty of Judging and now, will be Judged by God. Judging a person is “Trying to act like God”, not Obeying God’s Command to Love. Now, God will Judge that person.
Judge - Biblically, judging includes discerning truth, ruling justly, or in context of “judge not”, avoiding hypocritical
condemnation.
Are you punishing, being rude and disrespectful, to one for hurting your feelings?
If so, you are Judging and God Will Judge You.
Consider this Unforgiving Debtor.
Your wicked servant, I canceled “all that debt of yours” because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant “Just As I Had On You”? (Matthew 18:32-33)
The Bible says, Give and It Shall be given unto you; judgement or mercy.
Would you rather be Forgiven or Made to Pay?
Judge or Judge Not! You Chose!
Love Does Not Judge!
Mercy Is Life!
