Mature.
Mature.
A Warning Against Falling Away.
In fact, though “by this time” you “ought to be teachers”, you need someone to teach you the “Elementary Truths of God’s Word” “All Over Again”. “You need milk, not solid food”. Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the “Teaching About Righteousness”. But solid food is for the “Mature”, “Who By Constant Use” have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (Hebrews 5:12-14)
Our Daily Nugget
is a Warning Against Falling Away From Obedience to the Bible.
It is making it plain in that, “We Chose” to “Mature or to Remain an Infant”, by “Constant Use” of the Teachings of Righteousness or Constants Acts of Doing Wrong. The Matured person can distinguish Good from Evil, the infant can’t distinguished good from evil; but, the infant is still responsible for doing good and punished when they do evil.
Imagine a forty year old man who still wears diapers and uses a pacifier! Is there anything wrong with that picture? If no one Matures, what will become of the children? We teach our children “What We Are”. If we Refuse to Mature, we will teach our children to “Refuse To Mature”. God will not be pleased.
If we love the world, we will not mature!
Act Your Age; Are You Living on Meat or on Milk?
How does one “Live On Milk”, or “What is the Evidence” that one is Living On Milk and not Meat? Selfishness, insecurity, pride, arrogance, greed, refusal to stop sinning, etc.; these mentalities are not part of a Matured Person’s Thinking, therefore, these actions are not part of a Matured Person’s Actions. Our actions must follow our Thinking, it has no choice.
Anything that Doesn’t Grow, Dies. The more we want to Do Right, the more we will Do Right. The more we want to Do Wrong, the more we will Do Wrong. Doing right and doing wrong starts between our ears through Thinking. Practice leads to perfection; rather we are practicing right or are practicing wrong.
Children think it is their right to have everything they want.
Are you a Child or are you a Matured Christian?
