Belief without “Action”, “Love”, is Vain Belief.


Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.  By this gospel you are saved, “If you hold firmly to the Word I preached to you”.  Otherwise, “You Have Believed In Vain”.  (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)


Vain Belief is Evidence that one lied when they said, I Believe.


Belief is defined as a deep, “active trust” and “reliance on God and Jesus Christ”, going beyond “intellectual agreement” to involve personal commitment.  It is synonymously linked with Faith and Trust, often “requiring obedience and loyalty”.  It implies being fully persuaded of the Truth of Scripture.  


There is “No Salvation” in Belief that is Vain!


Our Daily Nugget

is informing us that Belief that is “Not Vain”, Saves; but, Belief that “Is Vain” “Does Not Save”.  Scripture tells us that “some lied when they said they believe”.  Scripture even tells us that Satan Believes, but Satan is not saved; because Satan Believes in Vain.  Belief “MUST” include a deep, active trust, and reliance on God and Jesus.  Belief that saves, goes beyond just agreeing that Jesus is Lord and God’s son sent to save.  Satan would say Amen to all that; but, there again Satan is Not Saved; for his Belief is Vain.


What does Vain Belief look like in Life?


The first sign of Vain Belief is that there is not Love for the Lord nor Love for the Neighbor.  Remember, “Love Is Doing”, “Love is Not A Feeling”.  Belief is “Active”, “Doing”, meaning The Word is Applied to Situations in Life, “in place of our own understanding”.  Belief is using the Bible as our “paradigm” for life.  The Bible “Over Rules” “All Manmade Rules, and Regulations”.  Believers use The Lord to Fight our Battles.  Belief is “Relying on Jesus” in whom we Believe.


Vain Belief “Invites” Satan into our households; 

as our vain belief makes us a Partner with Satan. To Love the World and the Things in it is evidence of Vain Belief!  To count all things as rubbish, is evidence that your Belief is Not Vain, But Real.  


                                                                              Love, Be Safe and Saved.
