God Both Asks us and He Tells us!


He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with you God.  (Micah 6:8)


Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest “Commandment”.  And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Laws and the Prophets hang on these Two Commandments.  (Matthew 22:37-40)


God Tells us What to Do & 

He Ask us Into A Relationship With Him.


Often, when a Christian is espousing the bible, we hear one say, “The Lord Asked Me” to do This or That.  Hearing this, made me think about my Daddy, “He Never Asked Us To Do Anything”; “He Told Us What To Do”; It Was Never a Option to do it or not.  God is like that! 


To Obey, brought my Daddy’s Favor, to Disobey Brought my Daddy’s Wrath.  So it is with God.  There were times my Daddy gave me advice; I had the Option to use his advice or to do it my way.  It’s always foolishness, at best, to not follow my Daddy’s advice.  So it is with God; when God ask or tells we should Rush to do it.


When God “Asks” us to do something we have a choice.

When God “Tells”, “Commands”, us to do something, we do not have a choice.


God both Asks and Tells man and woman “What” to do through Scripture, the Holy Spirit, and Conscience.  He gives Commands (Tells) regarding moral laws and Righteous Living, while also inviting (Asking) individuals into a personal relationship, purposeful service, or to trust Him through difficult, transformative circumstances.  The demonic spirit of pride, tells us that we have “A Choice”.


God Commands us to Love!


To Obey this Command brings Life and Light to all our darkness and death.  We need to Obey God’s Commands and To Follow God’s Advice.  “We do not know what to do”; we could not stand up nor sit down without God’s Blessings.


Treat Everything that The Bibles says as a Command, Telling;

“And Watch What Happens”.
