Enter Into His Rest.


Therefore, since the “Promise of Entering His Rest Still Stands”, let us be careful that none of you be found to have “fallen short of it”.  For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of “no value to them”, because “they did not share the Faith of those who obeyed”.  Now “we who have believed enter that rest”, just as God has said. “So I declared on oath in my anger, They shall never enter my rest.  And yet His works have been finished since the creation of the world.  (Hebrews 4:1-3)


The Offer to Enter Into His Rest “Still Stands”.

This Offer is of No Value to those who “Refuse To Obey (Love)”; the Wicked.


Our Daily Nugget

is informing us that, there is No Rest for those who Refuse To Obey, the Wicked; for they have fallen short.  There is Rest for the Obedient Heart/Mind.  The Lord Commands us “To Love Him and To Love Our Neighbor, As We Love Ourselves”; we are not commanded to ever commit a sinful act.  To Love our neighbor differently than we love ourselves is disobedience, it causes us to Fall Short.  This is evidence of a Wicked Heart/Mind.  There is No Rest For the Wicked.


Rest - Spiritual trust in God’s Sovereignty, representing peace, refreshment, and reliance on His Finished Work.


Wicked - A “mental disregard” for justice, righteousness, truth, honor, virtue; evil in thought and life, depravity; sinfulness; criminality.


But the wicked are like the tossing sea, “which cannot rest”, whose waves cast up mire and mud.  “There is No Peace”, says my God, “For The Wicked”.   (Isaiah 57:20-21)


Accept God’s Offer to Enter Into His Rest.  As long as we are breathing, it’s not too late.  To refuse to accept His Offer Of Rest is Evidence that we are Wicked.  Life and Death Hinges on us “Loving”.  The wicked does not honor, respect, nor Obey God.  We Can’t Fake Love for “Love Is Doing,  “Love is Active, It’s Alive”.


Belief Leads One To Love; 

To Love is Evidence that we are not Wicked and Have Entered His Rest.
