A Wise Man Will “Count The Cost” and say, “No Thank You”..


Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?  Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?  So he that goeth in to his neighbors wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.  Men do not despise a thief, if he steals to satisfy his soul when hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.  But whoso committees adultery with a woman “lacketh understanding”: he that doth it “destroyeth his own soul”.   A “Wound and Dishonor” “Shall He Get”; and “His Reproach Shall Not Be Wiped Away”.  (Proverbs 6:27-33)


 A Foolish Man Tries to “Hide His Sin”, 

but, “Still Lives With It”.  He will say to self, “I’m Safe”.


Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that if we “choose” to live with sinning, that “We Shall Receive a Wound and Dishonor”.  God is no Respecter of Persons, we all shall Reap What We Sow.  Obedience leads to Life, Disobedience Leads to Death.  This formula applies to people who say they Believe in Jesus and for people who say, they don’t Believe in Jesus.


Jesus Did Not Die, so that “We Can Live With Sin”!

Can a Believer hold burning coals to his chest and not get burnt?  That’s A No!


The Israelite who hid the stolen objects that was declared unclean; no one saw him steal the objects and he buried them where no one would find them.   He did not “Consider God”.  A Wise man will Consider God, a foolish man will not; a foolish man will reason within himself like this; “He says, no one saw me”.  Of course God is totally aware of our Choice to Sin, even before we committed the sin.


When The Doors are Shut and the Lights are Out; “God Sees Us Clearly”.


God watches over “His Word, the Bible”, to “Make Sure That His Words are Performed ”.  A Humbled and a Repented Heart/Mind “Will Not Allow Us to Think That We Can Live With Sin” and just plead the blood of Jesus and keep on sinning until we die, “And God Be Okay With That”.  Not So!


To Believe is to Repent; To Repent is to Turn Away From That Sin.
