Peace.

                                                                                 Peace.

Peace Be With You

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for Fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you”!  Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you”!  “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you”. A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them.  Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace Be With You”!  (John 20:19, 21, 26)

The Prince of Peace Lives today and He is still telling people;

“Do not Fear, for Peace is With You”.

Our Daily Nugget

is Jesus bringing Peace to a bunch of Fearful Disciples and to us.  On three different occasions Jesus told them that, “Peace Be With You”.  Jesus is the Prince of Peace.  The disciples was fearful of the Jewish Leaders and they were Fearful of “This Jesus”, who just showed up among them; Jesus did not come in through the locked doors nor through the windows; they just saw Jesus being killed and buried.

Peace - It signifies more than just the “absence of conflict”; it represents “completeness, wholeness, restoration, and tranquility”.  It encompasses inner calm, harmonious relationships with others, and a “Reconciled State With God”.

The Disciples were Living by Sight and not by Faith.

To experience the Peace that Jesus Offers, we must Live by Faith, not by Sight.

Some will have “No Peace”.  Is your life one of Peace or one of Confusion?

                     But the Lord has promised “that none who are evil (wicked)” will “live in Peace”.  (Isiah 48:22)

We are not what we Think we are, we are What We Think!  To live by sight means we are Worldly; to live by Faith means: we are Wordly.  Fear is of the world, Peace is of the Word.  The Word says, the Shield of Faith protects us from the wicked and the evil people.  Kingdom Citizens “Have Been Given”, power over sin and the sin-filled self.  We do not have to experience the shame of defeat, we can stand and be the men and the women that God has called for us to be.

“Exercise your Faith”, and “Watch Peace Come”!
