Rest is “Just A Prayer Away”.


Come to Me and “I Will Give You Rest”all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke.  Wear my yoke-for it fits perfectly-and let Me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, “And You Shall Find Rest For Your Souls”; for I give only light burdens.  (Matthew 11:28-29)


Are You Tired of Being Tired and Tired of Worrying?


Our Daily Nugget

is Jesus telling us through Matthew that “if we labor and if we are heaven ladened”, that we can come to Him with theses issues and that He Will Give Us “Rest From Them”.  Think about a long road trip and you’re tired and sleepy and you start looking for the sign that says “Rest Area Ahead” Seven Miles Ahead.  


Jesus doesn’t lie, and He does everything that He Says.  Jesus is Faithful like that; nor does the sign stating that I will find rest seven miles ahead. Immediately A Spirit of Rest enters our heart/mind and we start to have confidence that the heavy laden from driving will find rest, soon.  We Trust what the sign says and we Trust, much more so what Jesus says.


Rest - Both a physical cessation from labor and a “spiritual state of deep trust in God’s Sovereignty”.  It signifies relying on God’s Provision rather than one’s own striving.  The concept weaves through the entire biblical narrative.


No parent want to see their children 

Unable To Rest and to be Heavy Ladened all the time, not able to Enjoy Life.

God Delivers this Rest anytime He chooses to and will as soon as we Go to Him.


The Requirement to Come is that we “First, Die To Self”.  Then, We Can Rest.

God has Promised Rest for All Who Come to Him.  He is not man, He Cannot Lie.


Self is what we naturally like, self “Is Not Our Friend”, self is actually our enemy. Self will not allow us to Find Rest; self is controlled by Satan, Satan will make sure that we do not Find Rest; He wants us to be like him, “Restless and Worried”.


We Cannot “Live Our Purpose Until” we find “Rest For Our Souls”.

Rest Today, It’s Only A Prayer Away!
