Stand Still.
Stand Still.
To Abandon “One’s Own Efforts”.
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, “Stand Still”, and see the “Salvation of the Lord”, which He will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them no more for ever. (Exodus 14:13)
To Stand Still means, “I’ve Decided To ‘Trust & Wait’ on the Lord”.
Our Daily Nugget
is letting us know that when we are in between, The Red Sea and Pharaoh’s Army, “Stand Still”! The Bible says, when we Stand Still, “We Will See The Salvation of The Lord”. The Lord has promised to Fight our Battles when we “Stand Still”. To Stand Still is a form of Exercising Our Faith. When we Exercise our Faith “Victory is Assured”.
God’s Promises When We Stand Still.
I can do “All Things” through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Above All, carry the “Shield of Faith” so that you can extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word. Offer prayers and petitions in the Spirit all the time. Stay alert by hanging in there and praying for all believers. (Ephesians 6:16-18)
Often in life we will find ourselves between Pharaoh’s Army and The Red Sea. Today we might say, “between a rock and a hard place”. We can’t go forward nor can we go backwards. It appears that there are no good actions to take to “solve our dilemma”; now just Stand Still and You Will See The Salvation of the Lord. The Lord Loves to Save, He has The Power to Save; and “He Has Promised to Save Us”. We can Trust and Depend on Him. Never Fret!
Jesus’ Actions when He was between “Pharaoh’s Army and the Red Sea”.
When Jesus looked into His Cup of Suffering, it was too much for Him to drink; “He Prayed” to His Father for Help. Prayer is the Action we need to take when we are between Pharaoh’s Army and the Red Sea. We should not just “do something” because something needs to be done; we need to do the “Right Thing”. The Right Thing “starts with prayer” and “ends with praise”.
Today, Commit to “Standing Still, and you Will See”,
The Salvation of the Lord!
