And whoever “does not carry their cross” and “follow me” cannot be my disciple.  (Luke 14:27)


If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own.  As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I Have Chosen You Out of the World.  That is why the world hate you.  

(John 15:18-19).


If they Hated Me, they will Hate You!  

Are you Working to be Hated or are you Working to be Liked?


Our Daily Nugget

is revealing to us, “Two Critical Truths”.  1. Kingdom Citizens must “surrender personal desires”.  2.  Be prepared to face suffering, even death, “For The Faith”.


Carrying One’s Cross - Implies daily self-denial and commitment to “Following Jesus”.  Dying to Self and Speaking the

                                      Truth in Love.


Jesus is our Helper, “When we Commit to Carrying Our Cross”.


A Heart/Mind Fixed on Jesus is the “Foundation” we must have, in order to Prepare to Carry Our Cross.  If we love the world, we will not be able to Carry Our Cross because we will not be able to Resist Satan’s Temptation; “We Will Yield”.


Speaking the “Truth in Love” will make people Hate You.  Living a life committed to the Bible will lead people to hate you.  Telling people that what they are saying and doing is “wrong and sin” will lead “Staunch Church Goers” to Hate you.  “Are You Prepared to Be Hated” or will you “Hold Your Peace” in order to Be Liked?  Are you willing to be hated?  Jesus was prepared and willing to be Hated.


The saying, “Live and Let Live” is the world’s wisdom, 

“Not The Word’s Wisdom”.  This saying is “Anti Bible”, therefore sin.


                                  If no one hate you or ridicule you for saying what the Bible says, ask yourself; 

                                              Do I Belong To The World?  The World Will Love It’s Own!

Prepare to Carry Your Cross; “Commit to Truth”.
