Give Careful Thought To Your Ways.


This is what the Lord Almighty says: “These people say, The time as not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s House.  Then the Word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: “Is it time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin”?  Now this is what the Lord says:  Give careful thought to your ways.  (Haggai 1:2-5)


I Thought that, “God was Pleased with me”; But He Wasn’t.


Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that we must “Give Careful Thought To Our Ways” to make sure that Our Ways are Pleasing to God, not just to our selves.  The demons of selfishness, inconsideration, lack of concern, greed, etc. are the things that Blinds us to Seeing if our Actions are pleasing or not to God.


Our God is a Jealous God and Requires to Be Considered First.


The Israelites had built their houses, but they had not rebuilt The Lord’s House.  it was still in ruins and the people said, “It is not yet time to rebuild the Lord’s House”.  God said, that we are to have not other god, before Him.  The Lord sent a message through the Prophet Haggai warning the people to “Give Careful Thought to Their Ways”; “As Their Ways Were Not Pleasing To God”.


Do we place Religion, Tradition, Money, before God?

God is saying to us today to, “Give Careful Thought To Our Ways”.


The Israelites wanted paneled housing over a tent.  A Thankful and a Grateful Heart/Mind would consider the fact that God would like His House Rebuilt.  Haggai received a message from the Lord warning them to “Give Careful Thought To Their Ways”.  This is a message to us today.


Our Ways Leads to Life or Death; Blessings or Curses.


Arrogance, pride, selfishness, etc., leads one to “Need to Give Careful Thought To Their Ways”.  A wise person will “Check Themselves”; a Foolish person will say, I’m Just Fine, I don’t have a problem.  Sin and wrongdoing can and does blind us to the point that we cannot see ourselves clearly.


Ask God to Bless You to Give Careful Thought to Your Ways,

And Watch What Happens.
