What Were the “Reasons” Cain Killed Abel?


In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord.  And Abel also brought an offering-fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock.  The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor.  So “Cain was very angry”, and his face was downcast.  Then the Lord said to Cain, why are you angry?  Why is your face downcast?  “If You Do What Is Right”, “Will You Not Be Accepted”?  But “If You Do Not Do What Is Right” “sin is crouching at your door”; but “you must rule over it”.  (Genesis 4:3-7)


Greed, Jealous and no love for The Lord.

If we do not Conquer Anger, Anger Will Conquer Us!

People who “Do Wrong” are always jealous of the people who “Do Right”!


Our Daily Nugget

is giving us a classic example of how “the love of money” is the “Root” of all evil.  The love of money will lead us to “keep the best or most for ourselves”, even from God.  This action shows us our “heart/mind”; as to which one is “our god or God”.  Cain’s god was his stuff, treasures; Abel God was God, everything else came second or later; God came first.


Look around and in the mirror; be honest; 

do you see a world and a person that Love the Lord more than they love money?


We are not willing to give away what we Love!  To put the Lord’s Way and Will over our way and will is the evidence of who and what we love.  We spend our “time” with that which we love.  If we love worldly stuff, more than we love the Lord; we will do just like Cain; we’ll be rejected by God and become jealous of the ones who do right and we will desire to kill them, because we were rejected for thinking wickedly and jealousy, which are the Destinies of Greed.


Prayerfully, if we ask God to Show us our “Real Self”, He will!


If we do not “see” our real self, we’ll go just like Cain and “Love The World”, enough to “kill our brother”.  The “Living” of the Kingdom Citizens are “The Light” that can lead the world out of this darkness.


Do not Love the world, nor anything in it!  

The world is depending on us!
