Chasing The Wind.
Chasing The Wind.
Chasing the Wind is Worst than Being A Lazy Man; It’s Greed.
And I saw that “all toil and all achievement” spring from one person’s “envy” of another. This too is meaningless, “a chasing after the wind”. Fools fold their hands and ruin themselves. Better one handful with tranquillity than two handfuls with toil and “chasing after the wind”. (Ecclesiastes 4:4-6)
Always wanting more and more is Idolatry, The Worship of False Goods!
Our Daily Nugget
is written by King Solomon, “the richest man to have every lived”. Solomon did not “toil” for his riches; God made Solomon the richest man after God saw that Solomon was not consumed with always toiling to get more and more stuff. God asked Solomon to request anything he wanted and that God would give it to him.
Solomon asked for “The Wisdom Needed”
to Live His Purpose. Solomon’s Purpose was not to make more and more money. Our Purpose is not to make more and more money. What would be your answer if God said to you, “ask Me for anything and I will give it to you?
Beware of the Demon of Envy.
God doesn’t mind for us to have riches; He does mind that riches have us.
Envy - A resentful longing for another’s possessions or success, combined with displeasure at their good fortune. Scripture defines it as a destructive “work of the flesh”: that corrupts relationships, causes division, and reflects a deeper dissatisfaction with God’s provision.
When the world see people who say they are Christians Envying their neighbors, it makes it harder for the world to Believe. The world will say; “those people, who say they are Christians”, Live Just Like us; Greedy.
Kingdom Citizens cannot afford to get caught up in “The Love of Money”. We need money, we do not need to “chase the wind”, they are two different things, although they both makes us more money One is demonic and one is divine.
Solomon’s Heart/Mind, his Love for the Lord and his Love for his neighbors;
“Protected him for the Love of Money”. Ask God for a Right Heart/Mind,
and your answer would be to Benefit Your Neighbor also.
