Peace.
Peace.
Peace, the Price we Pay for Wickedness..
Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had “Peace” following like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea. (Isaiah 48:18)
But there is no “Peace”, says the Lord, for The Wicked”. (Isaiah 48:22)
The Question, Who Is Wicked? Our Answer, “Not Me”.
Our Daily Nugget
is informing us that our Refusing to Listen to God’s Commands will Cost us and our Households “Peace, and Classify us as Wicked”.
We are wicked or not; due to
“What We Are Thinking”, not “What we Think We Are”!
Peace - Is much more than just a quiet mind or the absence of a fight. It means total wholeness, health, and a “Right Relationship With God and Others”.
Wickedness - An active or passive departure from God’s Moral Law, representing “thoughts, intentions, and actions” that oppose God’s Character. It is more than a simple mistake, it is “a settled state of moral corruption, malice, and rebellion against divine justice and law”.
If we don’t know what wicked is, we don’t know if we are wicked or not.
How is your life, are you content, concerning Peace?
I can think and even say, all day, that I am not a wicked person; that only means that is what I say. It is What God Says, that classifies me as wicked or not. If I am wicked, my life will not have Peace. For God has said, There is No Peace for the Wicked. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and He does not give His Peace to us when we are Wicked. When our lives are filled with confusion, strife, no rest, etc.; “We Will Want Peace”. “Peace is Important”. If we do not have Peace in our lives, we should “Ask the Lord, Am I Wicked”?
To Love Our Neighbors as We Love Ourselves Will Bring Peace.
No one can Love and Be Wicked at the Same Time; therefore Always Love.
