Surrender.

                                                                             Surrender.

Our Greatest Witness.

Father, if you are Willing, take this cup from me, “Yet Not My Will, But Your Will Be Done”.  (Luke 22:42)

The Ultimate Act of “Faith and Trust”; Unfolding in Obedience.

Our Daily Nugget

lets us know that “Our Victory Lies In Our Surrendering”.  To Surrender is to win, because “The Lord Is With Us”, when we surrender.  The Lord is against us when we refuse to surrender.  Not “My Will”, but “Thy Will Be Done”.  To Refuse to Surrender means we have chosen “Our Will Instead of God’s Will”.

Surrender is Not Defeat; It Is Victory.

Surrender - The voluntary act of yielding one’s own will, desires, and control to the “Authority and Goodness of God”.  Rather than a defeat, it is a “Foundational Step of Faith, Trust, and Obedience” that leads to “Spiritual Freedom and Transformation”.

Our Daily Nugget Scripture is what Jesus chose to do when He looked into His Cup of Suffering.  His cup of suffering appeared “too hard for Him to drink”.  Jesus is showing us what we should do when we are confronted with a situation that “appears too hard for us to drink”.  Jesus Prayed for God’s Will to be done.

God answered Jesus’ Prayer and God will answer our Prayers when we say to Him; “Lord, Not My Will But Thy Will Be Done”.  This is “Dying To Self”.  We must “Die Before We Can Live”.  The Obedient son, who does what His Father tells him to do, instead of doing what he feel like doing is a son who has Died To Self.  Now His Father’s Will, Will Be Done.  Great Blessings will flow to that son.

To the World, Surrender is Defeat; “We Were Of The World, but, No Longer”.

This is one more reason why we Must Be Born Again.  Being Born Again means we are a New Creature, who realizes that “We Are In The World, but Not Of the World”.  We no longer act and react like we did when we were “Of The World”.  Now God’s Words guide our Living, not our words.

Trust the Lord Today;

 “Surrender and Experience Victory”.
