Unless You Bless Me.
Unless You Bless Me.
I Wont Let You Go, “Unless You Bless Me”.
Then the man said, Let me go, for it is daybreak,. But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go ‘Unless’ You Bless Me”. (Genesis 32:26)
Quitters Never Win and Winners never Quit.
Kingdom Citizens Must PUSH, “Pray Until Something Happens”,
Our Daily Nugget
centers on the transformation of Jacob from a self-reliant schemer, the Old Creature, to a surrendered follower of God, the New Creature, highlighted by his “Wrestling with God” and receiving the new name Israel. Facing his brother Esau, Jacob moves from fear-based manipulation to absolute reliance on God’s Blessing, marking a pivotal, Character-Shaping Surrender.
Jacob is showing us the Fruit of a Humbled and a Repentant Heart/Mind. Jacob is a schemer, a crook, like his mother; she taught her son what she was; “Until He Wrestled with God or an Angel”. Persistent and consistent Prayer is a way we Wrestle with God or an Angel.
As Long as we Hang, We’ve Got It Made;
just never let go of things like, hope, joy, goodness, righteousness, faith.
Jacob, the schemer and crook, tricked, stole, the Blessings of the first born son from his brother Esau, and ran away to a distant land for a long time. Jacob was now going back to face his brother Esau, who was a man of war. Jacob was terrified at what Esau would do to him, “in getting retribution”.
Don’t look at the problem, Esau; look at the Solution, God. When we make a decision to “Stick With Lord, No Matter What”; God Will Bless Us. The scriptures says, God Will Not Reject A Humbled and a Repentant Heart/Mind.
When we “Face Our Fears, Our Fears Will Flee From Us”!
Jacob Exercised His Faith; this is Wrestling With God.
Jacob Chose to Live by Faith and Not By Sight.
