Living On Milk.
Living On Milk.
Mature or Perish.
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken “Forward to Maturity” not laying again the foundation of repentance from “acts that lead to death”, and of Faith in God. (Hebrews 6:1)
It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the Word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. (Hebrews 6:4-6)
Anything that is Born, Must Grow or It Will Die.
Our Daily Nugget
is letting us know that just because we say, we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, that this is “Not a License to Sin As Much As We Like”. To be able to sin as much as we like is not the purpose of God’s Salvation. How can we who have been Saved from sin, go back and live in it? We can’t live on milk.
All of Chapter 6 of Hebrews calls Believers to move past Basic Christian Teachings toward Spiritual Maturity, “warns against total apostasy”, and offers deep comfort through God’s unchangeable promise and the hope found in Jesus Christ as an anchor for the soul. God’s Salvation “Does Not” allow us to “Sin As Much As We Like” and still claim the blood of Jesus as that which makes it okay to live like people who don’t know Him. Don’t Throw the Dice With Your Salvation.
Desiring and Practicing Being Mature, Leads Us To Maturity.
We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because You No Longer Try To Understand. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s Word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who “lives on milk”, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness (right living). But “solid food is for the mature”, “Who By Constant Use Have Trained Themselves to Distinguish “Good From Evil”. (Hebrews 15:11-14).
Studying will fix this.
God is Not Mocked, We All Will “Reap What We Sow”, Jesus Did Not Change That!
Make Jesus Smile Today, “Show Maturity”.
