Scorned Sacrifices.

                                                                   Scorned Sacrifices,

Will Bring Disdain if we Honor “others or things” over Him.

Why do you “scorn my sacrifice and offering” that I prescribed for my dwelling?  Why do you honor your sons “more than Me” by fattening yourselves (stealing from the offerings)  on the choice parts of every offering “made by the people of Israel. Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares:  I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.  But now the LORD declares: Far be it from Me!  “Those Who Honor Me I Will Honor”, but “Those Who Despise Me Will Be Disdained”.  (1 Samuel 2:29&30)

Disdain - To treat someone or something with contempt, scorn, or rejection, viewing them as worthless, inferior, or underserving of respect.

Honor - To assign weight, value, and high respect to someone or something based on their position, character, or creation in God’s Image.

Scorn -  An attitude or action of extreme contempt, arrogance, and open mockery directed at God, His wisdom, His commands, or other people

Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that we must use the Sacrifices from the People of God with Honor and Respect or we will Receive “Disdain” from God.  No one wants God to Exercise Disdain on Them and On Their Household.

Eli was a man in charge of God’s House, when the Prophet Samuel Lived.  Eli had some sons, who were scoundrels and stole from the offerings the people gave to God’s House.  Eli knew all about it, but refused to make them stop.  “God had promised” Eli that his family would serve as Priest forever.

Should we expect God to continue to Bless us when we continue to Dishonor Him, by Scorning His Sacrifices?  No!  God will Honor us, “If We Honor Him”.  To Honor God, we must place His Way and His Will, “Far Above Our Way and Far Above Our Will”.  If we do this God Will Honor Us and Honor Our Households.

To Scorn God’s Sacrifices

is evidence that we heard and obeyed the demonic spirit instead of us hearing and obeying the Holy Spirit; if we do not Repent, Destruction is coming from our God.

Refuse to Allow the Demon of Greed To Lead You to Dishonor God’s Sacrifices

and Watch How You and Your Household Flourish.
