Whose Glory?
Whose Glory?
God’s Glory or Personal Glory?
Now “All Glory to God”, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us (The Holy Spirit), to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)
Jesus answered, My Teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. Anyone who “chooses to do the will of God” will find out whether I speak on my own. Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain “personal glory”, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him “Is A Man of Truth”; there is “nothing false about him”. Has not Moses given you the law? Yet, not one of you keep the law. Why are you trying to kill me. (John 7:16-19).
It is Very Foolish to, “Attempt to Steal God’s Glory”.
Glory - Means the visible, tangible display of God’s supreme worth, character, and heavy presence.
Our Daily Nugget serves as a warning to anyone who wants to
“Steal God’s Glory” for themselves; “Not to Attempt It”.
God has told us that “On our own we can do No Good Thing”; therefore “anything we do that is good is from God and not from our selves”. To attempt to take credit is attempting to teal God’s Glory. God really dislikes it when we, who can do “nothing good on our own” attempt to “Take Credit For What He Has Done”. We need to “Be Thankful”, then we would not be “Pride Filled”.
God said to us, to never Think of yourself more highly than we ought to Think. To think of ourselves more highly than we ought to think is Pride. Pride comes before the fall, but, know for sure that when we are prideful, “We Will Fall”. God will see to it, as He tolerates “No Rivals”. Be wise, just say Thank You and be glad.
Glory is not a word that we focus on or use in our conversations very often today, but God is very aware of each one of our attempts to Steal His Glory
Ask God to Bless you to Give All The Glory to “Him”, and
Watch The Blessings Flow.
