Vainglory.

                                                                              Vainglory.


All Glory Belongs to God.


“Glory Belongs to God”, whose power is at work in us.  By this power he can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.  “Glory Belongs To God” in the Church and in Christ Jesus for all time and eternity!  Amen.  

(Ephesians 3:20-21)  


Do not think of yourself more highly then you ought to think.

Do Nothing Out of Vainglory.


To seek Vainglory

is evidence that The Demon of Pride is controlling our Heart/Mind, 

our Thinking.   We control “What” we Think, then, “What” we think controls us. 


Glory - The visible radiant, and weighty manifestation of God’s supreme worth, character, and presence.


Vainglory - Empty glory or unwarranted pride in one’s own achievements, status, or appearance.  In the Bible, it describes seeking human applause and validation rather than honoring God.


Man is not What he Think he is, Man is “What He Thinks”.


Satan’s heart/mind was filled with the Demon of Vainglory.  Vainglory occurs when we attempt to take credit for what God has done.  On our own we “can do no good thing”.  Will a man steal God’s Glory?  Yes, man attempt it all the time; led by the Demon of Pride.


Humility cannot dwell in the heart/mind that is filled with vainglory.


A humbled heart/mind is evidence that that individual is Trusting God and Jesus and not Self and Satan.  The heart/mind that is filled with vainglory has chosen “a god” over “God”; this will make the God of Heaven and Earth our enemy.


We all are born in sin and shaped in iniquity; 

“We Have No Glory”.


A Thankful and Grateful Heart/Mind has nor room for Vainglory.
