The Power of "Amen"!

Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, their am I with them.” (Matthew 18:19-20)

 

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.  And so

through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

 

The Power of “Amen”!

 

Where Two or Three “Gathers in His Name”,

Jesus has Promised to be in the “Middle” of the “Two or the Three”.

 

For an Amen to occur there must be at least “Two”.

These Two must “Agree”, concerning what they are “Asking For”.

Their Amen is a “Declaration of Affirmation”, or a response to a prayer. 

Amen – Firm, fixed, sure. – To be Reliable.

“It’s Unity”.

 

In Unity There is Strength!

 

Our Daily Nugget 

is about “Dealing With Sin In the Church”.

 

Look at what the scriptures say about Sin in The Church.

If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that “every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.  Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be^[ bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.  (Matthew 18:15-18)

 

This is an area of scripture 

Churches don’t Obey, but if we did, there would be “so much less sin in the Church; and so fewer people in the world will call us hypocrites and they will have “respect” for people who say they are Christians and things pertaining to God and Jesus.  This would be an excellent area for two or three of us to agree right here, by saying “Amen”.  The wage of sin is still death, and we must treat it as such.

 

In the “world” they would call this “Getting In People’s Business”.

In the “Word” they call this “Going to Your Brother in Love” that sin would not “overrun” any of us.  But through obedience to the Word, “Which is Love”, that we literally “Love the Hell Out of People”.  The goal

“To Win Our Brother Back From Sin”.

 

This is how we “Keep The Body Spiritually Healthy!

This is how the Body looks like Jesus to the world, instead of looking like Hypocrites to the world.

 

We should only say Amen when we Live or Say according to The Bible.

The Bible first, then, Religion and Tradition.

Then Amen.

 

If you Love Me, 

please, don’t leave me out there lost, without hope, in a life of sin.

“Come get me and clean me up, help me to get a sound and a right, heart/mind”, Take Me to The King, He is the One I need, only He can make me whole, only He can save my soul.  To this we all should say, Amen.
